Our appreciation for diversity is a reflection of the awe and reverence created as we observe each unique person created by our loving God. At ICSLima, we welcome and celebrate each person because they are of immeasurable worth. Each is created in the image of God, and God has demonstrated the inherent worth of each through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.<\/div>

The diversity of the cultures and beliefs of the people of the world are a spectacular m\u00e9lange shaped by thousands of years of development and change. We respect the differences evident in our school community while at the same time holding firm to the absolute truths of scripture. We will never force a student or parent to believe a certain way, but we will not negotiate or be inappropriately deferential when a clash involving truth arises. We will always present our views with grace and humility, but we will never compromise the clearly stated truths of scripture for the sake of unity.<\/div>

Our school community should always strive to be an example of unity in diversity. True unity is only possible through the grace of God and the work of Christ. As Christians we are called to model and to work towards such unity. We encourage active, civil debate among the groups in our greater whole. We will never condone an atmosphere that is hostile to debate or differing beliefs on minor\/unclear Biblical interpretations. As Christians we can be confident in the strength of truth. The truth of scripture should be actively and thoughtfully present in all forums, and the followers of that truth have nothing to fear. Truth will stand.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
