ICD is a day where ICSLima celebrates the beautifully diverse cultures that are represented in our school community, learns more about the cultures of a specific region of the world, and raises funds to support a ministry in the region of focus. This year, we chose the region of South America and donated the funds to La Mesa Del Reino. The day’s event started with an opening ceremony that included a Parade of Flags, Performances from PK-G4 classes, a time of Musical Worship in multiple languages, and a Bible Message. After the opening ceremony, we had our traditional international food fair for lunch and cultural performances from community partners. Families and friends were invited and many wore their traditional clothing from their home country.
